Stages of Grief follows the experiences of Rían and Avery, two old friends that are no longer speaking to each other. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they are forced to reflect on the loss of their friendship, the death of their friend Kai, and the impact of social isolation on their current relationships. Through poetry, vlogs and zoom calls, the play looks at how therapeutic discourse impacts how we view friendships; do we owe people closure after we cut ties with them?
